A closer look
Before he was fighting Decepticons or demanding people say hello to their mothers, Mark Wahlberg was practicing synchronized choreography. At the age of 13, Wahlberg was one of the founding members of the squeaky-clean pop phenomenon New Kids on the Block, alongside his brother Donnie. Apparently deciding that aggressively harmonizing in matching outfits wasn't helping his street credibility, he quit the group after just a few months, rebranded himself as Marky Mark, and started aggressively modeling underwear instead.
