The Finnish sauna ritual that ends in an icy lake
The Finnish concept of relaxation apparently involves pushing the human cardiovascular system to the brink of spectacular failure. A traditional Arctic retreat requires sitting in a claustrophobic, wood-fired smoke sauna until you are practically medium-rare, then sprinting into a gaping hole cut out of a frozen lake. It supposedly improves circulation, but mostly it just proves you have terrible judgment.
