Never underestimate the power of a giant mouse to build an isolated corporate ethnostate. Starting in 1987, Disney began printing vibrant 'Disney Dollars' that were perfectly pegged on a 1:1 exchange rate with the US dollar. They were accepted as legal tender anywhere inside the Disney ecosystem. The terrifying part is that it worked flawlessly for decades, holding its value better than some actual developing nations, until the company quietly discontinued them in 2016.
