Travel blogs love to claim that simply mentioning you just got married will instantly result in the front desk handing you the keys to the penthouse suite. Truthfully, front desk staff hear this lie fifty times a day. Best case scenario, you get a towel folded vaguely like a swan and a cheap piece of chocolate. You get the room you paid for.
