A closer look

Red Bull does not actually manufacture its own energy drinks, relying instead on completely outsourced production while functioning almost entirely as a massive marketing company that occasionally sells highly caffeinated soda. They spend an absurd percentage of their total revenue on extreme sports sponsorships, Formula One teams, and dropping a guy from the literal stratosphere, all to convince you that their incredibly sour beverage makes you cool. It is an absolutely brilliant economic grift to realize that manufacturing a product is entirely for suckers, and the real money lies in branding a mildly terrible-tasting syrup as an adrenaline-fueled lifestyle choice. You aren't buying a drink to wake up for your boring desk job, you are blindly funding a multibillion-dollar extreme sports conglomerate that happens to legally owe you an eight-ounce can of liquid anxiety!
