Random forest algorithms combine trees to make choices

If one decision tree isn't accurate enough, data scientists deploy a 'Random Forest'. They build hundreds of separate, slightly randomized decision trees and force them all to vote on the final answer. It is algorithmic democracy at its finest, relying on the 'wisdom of the crowd' to ensure one stupid tree doesn't ruin the whole calculation.
