A closer look

Usually, when a theme park goes bankrupt, it gets demolished or fenced off to keep teenagers out. The owner of Seoul's Yongma Land, however, took the genius route of just leaving the dodgems to rust and charging a small entrance fee to K-pop video directors and melancholic tourists. You literally pay to wander around an unmaintained, creepy amusement park from the 80s, proving that urban decay is a highly marketable aesthetic if you just leave the front gate open.
