The esteemed broadcaster aired a totally deadpan documentary segment showing Swiss farmers harvesting strands of pasta directly from 'spaghetti trees.' Hundreds of British viewers, entirely ignorant of Italian cuisine, flooded the switchboard asking how they could cultivate their own pasta orchards.
