Wealthy neighborhoods in coastal cities like Miami and Dubai are currently fighting a losing battle against massive gangs of feral peacocks that actively terrorize millionaires by aggressively screaming at the crack of dawn and scratching expensive sports cars. Originally imported by eccentric real estate developers and wealthy elites who thought having iridescent exotic birds wandering their manicured lawns would add a touch of aristocratic glamour, these deeply annoying fowl quickly realized they had absolutely zero natural predators and decided to forcefully multiply. Because the brightly colored males are profoundly unintelligent and highly territorial, they frequently catch a glimpse of their own majestic reflections in the glossy paint of a parked Mercedes and violently attack the phantom rival until the car is entirely ruined. It is uniquely satisfying to realize that the ultra-rich basically paid top dollar to unleash a plague of incredibly loud, flying raccoons dressed in high-end drag directly into their own heavily gated communities
