Sigur Rós sometimes sings without real words

Icelandic post-rockers Sigur Rós decided that conveying a specific message was entirely too restrictive. Instead, they frequently sing in 'Vonlenska,' a made-up gibberish language that relies purely on the emotional resonance of the syllables. It completely eliminates the need for poetry, letting listeners project whatever dramatic sorrow they want onto the vocalist's wailing.
