Sneaky individuals will frequently create entirely fake accounts on popular apps just to quietly look up the charts of strangers on the internet. It is the spiritual equivalent of making a burner social media account to stalk someone. They input the data, get the intel they want, and then abandon the fake profile forever, leaving the database littered with ghost accounts.
