A closer look

In card games, exhausting a card generally means losing it forever—a necessary downside for a powerful effect. The Ironclad’s 'Corruption' card takes this to the extreme by making all defensive skill cards free to play, but exhausting them immediately. It's a massive gamble, unless you happen to find an unassuming relic called 'Dead Branch,' which generates a random new card every time one is exhausted. When combined, these two pieces create a hilariously broken engine of infinite nonsense. You play a free defense card, it vanishes, Dead Branch hands you a new random card, which is likely another free defense card, which you immediately play. It turns a game of careful, math-heavy strategy into a spectacular slot machine where you simply smash buttons until the boss disintegrates.
