Weather forecasts fail after about 10 days not because we are stupid, but because the universe itself is touchy. Instead, we shift to probabilities and patterns: climate trends instead of precise weather, traffic flow instead of each car, epidemic curves instead of who infects whom. Chaos theory revealed that within apparent disorder, there can be hidden structures called strange attractors, shapes that trajectories tend to orbit without repeating. It is a reminder that not all unpredictability is random. Sometimes, the future is not unknowable because it lacks rules, but because it has too many amplifiers.
