Raindrops look more like hamburger buns than tears
Every drawing of a raindrop you have ever made is a lie. Water tension pulls drops into spheres as they fall, but air resistance aggressively pushes up against the bottom, flattening them out. So instead of an elegant, elongated tear, nature bombards us with millions of tiny, aerodynamic burger buns hurtling from the clouds.
