Nine experienced hikers vanished in Dyatlov pass

During a freezing Soviet expedition in 1959, nine skilled mountaineers ripped their heavy tents open from the inside and fled into the blizzard without shoes. Their bodies were later discovered with inexplicable internal trauma and traces of severe radioactivity on their clothing.
