Why go to the actual ocean when you can thrash around in chlorinated turbulence? The concept was pioneered in Hungary at the Gellért Baths. They engineered a mechanized system to churn the water, successfully bringing the anxiety of being unexpectedly pulled under a wave to a landlocked, concrete environment.
