Tolkien typed The Lord of the Rings with two fingers
Creating an intricate fantasy world with functioning languages is hard enough, but doing it via the hunt-and-peck method is sheer masochism. J.R.R. Tolkien manually typed out all 1,200 pages of his epic fantasy trilogy using just his two index fingers. Given the amount of revisions he did, he likely typed the equivalent of millions of words this way.
