These masked scavengers have an incredibly strange obsession with dipping their meals in puddles before dining. Even if they just pulled a perfectly dry french fry straight from a sealed dumpster, they will frantically rub it underwater until it turns to absolute mush. They are simply trying to enhance the tactile feel of the trash, completely ignoring basic hygiene.
