A closer look

Continuity is apparently a completely foreign concept in a galaxy far, far away. In the original films, the beloved green Jedi master very clearly has three toes on each foot. But when the CGI revolution hit the prequels, animators randomly slapped an extra toe on him for absolutely no canonical reason. Fans have spent decades fiercely debating the biological implications of this toe disparity, while the creator likely just shrugged and approved the rendered file without looking.
