Tukaram's poetry inexplicably survived a trip in the river

Critics can be harsh, but making you drown your own life's work is a bit extreme. Tukaram was a brilliant poet whose jealous rivals forced him to tie a heavy stone to his handwritten manuscripts and throw them into the local river. According to local historical lore, his books miraculously floated perfectly back to the surface after thirteen days, completely completely unharmed.
