That small dose of outdoor time can satisfy the urge to get out of the room without turning it into a trip beyond the property.
The design keeps resort amenities within easy reach
Balconies also let guests look out over the grounds and notice what is close by. A bar, pool, or other shared space may seem like the natural next stop, especially when returning to the room is easy. By contrast, exploring beyond the resort means crossing a boundary—choosing a destination, getting there, and eventually coming back. Even modest effort can make the on-site option more appealing.
