The true masterpiece in any high-end art gallery is the psychological manipulation of wealthy people. Galleries notoriously place tiny red stickers next to paintings to indicate they have already been sold. However, they routinely fake this, slapping red dots on unsold works just to trigger intense 'fear of missing out' among rich collectors, artificially inflating demand and forcing buyers into a panicked frenzy over a canvas covered in paint splatters.
