Naughty Dog once had a very different name
The studio behind cinematic cinematic masterpieces and post-apocalyptic tragedies once sounded like a supplier of mediocre spreadsheet applications. Founded by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin, 'JAM Software' created early interactive titles before rebranding to Naughty Dog. Presumably, they realized that selling action-adventure titles under a name that implies sticky toast was a poor strategic move.
