A closer look
The creator of Star Wars was almost taken out by a severely malfunctioning rubber fish. While visiting the set of Jaws, George Lucas playfully stuck his head inside the mouth of the notoriously broken animatronic shark, 'Bruce'. Steven Spielberg hit the remote control to clamp the jaws shut as a joke, but the mechanics immediately jammed. Lucas was legitimately trapped inside the heavy mechanical head until they forcefully pried it open. They subsequently ran away from the prop warehouse, terrified they broke the shark.
