DNA can protect itself from extreme heat

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

It turns out the biological blueprint of life is basically asbestos. When exposed to extreme heat, DNA strands cross-link to form a fire-resistant protective shield. This microscopic defense mechanism prevents our genetic material from instantly going up in smoke. Sadly, this evolutionary trait does absolutely nothing to protect you from burning your life down with bad choices.
