North Korea and Finland are technically separated by only a single country thanks to Russia being so obscenely huge that it sprawls all the way from the borders of Scandinavia to the Korean Peninsula, providing a massive geographical shortcut that theoretically allows you to walk out of a heavily sanctioned, dystopian dictatorship and cross only one single border before ending up in a cozy Nordic welfare state with excellent saunas, breaking your brain when you look at a standard map and completely collapsing the perceived massive distance between the exotic Far East and European hipster coffee shops, though nobody in their right mind would actually attempt this miserable overland journey as it involves surviving thousands of miles of Siberian wasteland, aggressive border guards, and truly staggering amounts of snow, yet it remains a hilarious testament to how completely unhinged world geography actually is when you stop looking at things from a standard Western-centric viewpoint
