Michael Jackson secretly composed the soundtrack for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in 1994, but he ultimately went uncredited because he was allegedly furious with how heavily compressed his music sounded on the Sega Genesis sound chip. While Sega officially denied his involvement for decades, eventually the game's developers admitted that the King of Pop did indeed write the music for the iconic platformer.
