Pixar accidentally deleted almost the entirety of Toy Story 2 from their central servers during production because an anonymous employee typed a single flawed command code into the system. The entire movie began erasing itself right before their eyes, and their backup tapes were hopelessly corrupted, nearly causing the absolute financial ruin of the studio. The only reason the movie exists today is because a supervising technical director happened to have a copy of the film's assets on her personal home computer since she was working remotely after having a baby. You have to love the sheer, terrifying incompetence of early computer networks, where a hundred-million-dollar animated blockbuster was saved strictly because of maternity leave and a severely overworked mom ignoring company data security protocols
