Ouija boards were once wholesome family entertainment

Back in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Ouija boards were sold as wholesome, romantic parlor games for families and courting couples. It wasn't until the 1973 release of 'The Exorcist' that pop culture decided the board was a demonic telephone, officially ruining its innocent reputation forever.
