Hollywood single-handedly rebranded a cute wooden toy into an interactive portal to hell. Back in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Ouija boards were sold as wholesome, romantic parlor games for families and courting couples. It wasn't until the 1973 release of 'The Exorcist' that pop culture decided the board was a demonic telephone, officially ruining its innocent reputation forever.
