The most famous bald villain in comic book history didn't start out that way. Lex Luthor debuted with a full head of flowing ginger hair. A different artist later mistakenly drew him completely bald. Rather than correct the error, DC just rolled with it, claiming an accident in Superman's lab burned his hair off, birthing a lifelong bald vendetta.
