When Emma Samms took over the role of Fallon Carrington from Pamela Sue Martin, the writers didn't just ignore the sudden physical transformation. They genuinely wrote in an alien abduction storyline to logically explain to viewers why the wealthy heiress suddenly possessed entirely different facial bone structure.
