A closer look
NASA launched the Voyager golden records into deep space to communicate with potential alien life, but conspicuously left out any mention of astrology or the zodiac wheel. Despite astrology dominating human culture for thousands of years, scientists decided to strictly include hard mathematics, biological diagrams, and Chuck Berry music to represent our species. They intentionally hid our obsession with star signs from the aliens because they probably knew an advanced intergalactic civilization would completely judge us for it. We are perfectly happy to let extraterrestrials know about our anatomy and our rock and roll, but we draw the line at explaining why Virgos are neat freaks
