HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Drop a cloud of gas to within fractions of a degree above absolute zero, and the atoms lose their individual identities completely. The wave functions of the particles spread out and overlap until thousands of atoms merge into a single, synchronized quantum blur. They behave perfectly in unison, abandoning atomic individualism to become a highly coordinated, ultra-cold flash mob.
