The initial assembly of any major feature is universally considered to be absolute, unwatchable garbage. Without the color grading or tightened pacing, it is just a painfully slow sequence of people awkwardly waiting for action to be called. Editors use this bloated monstrosity to figure out exactly which expensive scenes they are going to mercilessly throw away.
