American colonists who participated in the Boston Tea Party in 1773 actually returned the next day to sweep the decks and make sure they did not damage any property other than the tea. They also brought a locksmith to replace a single padlock that had been broken during the raid, because they wanted to prove they were principled political protestors and not just a bunch of rowdy vandals. The British government responded to this remarkably polite act of treason by closing the port of Boston and passing the Intolerable Acts, which directly ignited the Revolutionary War. It shows that you can be as obsessively courteous and cleanly as humanly possible when destroying corporate property, but the ruling class is still going to be absolutely furious that you messed with their precious hot leaf juice
