A closer look
Multiple massive fast-food corporations have recently invested hundreds of millions of dollars into aggressively replacing their low-wage drive-thru human workers with highly sophisticated artificial intelligence voice recognition systems. Unsurprisingly, these incredibly expensive robotic assistants constantly hallucinate completely bizarre orders, famously adding copious amounts of bacon to ice cream cones or simply attempting to charge bewildered customers hundreds of dollars for a single side of french fries. It is intensely satisfying to watch multi-billion dollar corporate entities realize in real-time that no amount of fancy machine learning algorithms can actually adequately replicate the sheer annoyed competence of an underpaid teenager who just wants you to take your food and leave
