The most widely quoted ecstatic poet on modern inspirational posters is universally known by a completely geographic nickname. Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad was simply called 'Rumi' because he lived in the Anatolian peninsula, which had previously belonged to the Roman Empire. It is like achieving eternal literary fame under the name 'That Guy from Jersey.'
