When everyone wants to speak on the same channel, they are forced to take microscopic turns. Time Division Multiplexing rapidly slices a single frequency into tiny time slots. It grabs a fraction of a millisecond from user A, then user B, then user C, and transmits them in a rapid-fire sequence. The rotation is so incredibly fast that all users falsely believe they have a dedicated, uninterrupted line.
