Frequency division creates distinct transmission lanes

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Airwaves are just incredibly strict highways with invisible lanes. Frequency Division Multiplexing allows massive amounts of data to travel simultaneously through a single medium by assigning each separate data stream to a slightly different frequency band. Because these lanes never physically overlap, receivers can easily tune into one specific lane while completely ignoring the chaotic traffic in all the others.
