Sometimes technology creates horrors that mankind was never meant to witness. The original plan for the half-vampire baby in the Twilight franchise was a terrifying animatronic that looked so aggressively demonic the crew nicknamed it 'Chuckesmee'. They eventually replaced it with CGI, which somehow looked equally unsettling and entirely devoid of human soul.
