Doctors reported a massive influx of patients suffering from severe tennis elbow and dislocated shoulders, entirely sustained by aggressively swinging at pixelated tennis balls in their own living rooms. Nintendo eventually had to issue massive warnings and redesign their wrist straps with thicker cords, just to legally protect themselves from a global epidemic of middle-aged people destroying their rotator cuffs in a desperate bid to beat their grandmother at virtual golf
