Apparently, regular hibernation is simply not thrilling enough for eastern predators. In remote Russian regions, bears actively seek out discarded barrels of kerosene to inhale the fumes, eventually passing out in a narcotic haze and leaving scientists utterly baffled by their destructive coping mechanisms.
