Tiny marsupials stomp when rivals get too close

When these miniature macropods feel vaguely threatened, they do not run or fight; they throw an aggressive localized tantrum. They violently slam their heavy hind legs straight into the dirt, sending loud, intimidating vibrations rippling completely through the forest floor. It is basically the marsupial equivalent of aggressively banging on the wall to annoy annoying neighbors.
