Retractable wheels are heavy, complicated, and entirely unnecessary if you never need a runway. Instead, many helicopters just feature two glorified metal poles welded to the bottom. It reduces the weight significantly, but guarantees that you cannot elegantly taxi around an airport without scraping metal across the tarmac.
