The island France and Spain swap every six months

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

History's most petty timeshare is a small, uninhabited patch of dirt in the Bidasoa River. To end the Thirty Years' War, France and Spain signed a treaty that included swapping this island back and forth. Every six months, they literally hand over the jurisdiction. No one is allowed to visit, and it exists purely as a bureaucratic flex to prove neither country could just let it go.
