A closer look
Modern psychology is heavily indebted to an old Swiss man having intense conversations with an imaginary friend. During a period of intense mental crisis, Jung began doing 'active imagination' exercises and met a spirit guide named Philemon, who appeared as a winged old man with bull horns. Jung claimed Philemon taught him things he didn't know, heavily inspiring his concepts of the collective unconscious. Therapy is expensive, but chatting with a winged bull man is free.
