If you complain about legroom on a road trip, direct your apologies to Richard Sears, Nick Gough, and their auto-rickshaw. In 2012, these lunatics decided a standard vehicle was too luxurious for a world tour. They crammed into a three-wheeled, 7-horsepower tuk-tuk and drove it 26,500 miles across 39 countries. Unsurprisingly, the vehicle broke down constantly, forcing them to push it over mountains and manually drag it out of mud pits. But hey, they got the Guinness World Record.
