Thirty-six years and roughly a hundred spin-offs later, the word 'Final' is nothing more than a hilarious, ongoing lie pushed by a multi-billion-dollar corporation refusing to let a profitable intellectual property die. At this point, they will probably be releasing Final Fantasy 74 directly into our neural implants while we fight off water-wars in the dystopian future!
