A closer look
Robert Boyle designed a magical-looking flask where a tube loops back into the container, seemingly creating a perpetual fountain of liquid powering itself. It looks incredible on paper, but it fundamentally violates the laws of physics. Capillary action isn't strong enough to pull the liquid up and out of the tube against gravity without a pressure difference. It’s essentially a 17th-century clickbait thumbnail that still tricks gullible people on YouTube into believing in free energy.
