A closer look
Rockstar Games caused an international political scandal in 2005 when hackers discovered fully functional, hidden sexual mini-games buried deep within the source code of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The infamous Hot Coffee mod led to the game being temporarily banned, rated Adults Only, and directly investigated by angry politicians who were somehow completely fine with the game's rampant digital murder, gang warfare, and vehicular manslaughter. It perfectly highlighted the hilarious hypocrisy of the American entertainment rating system, where you can legally run over fifty pedestrians with a stolen fire truck, but seeing a low-polygon character awkwardly thrusting in a pixelated bedroom is considered a catastrophic threat to society
